QR Codes Now Available On Your Packaging

What is a QR code?

Have you seen these odd looking black and white squares (like the one displayed above) in newspapers, magazines, on posters or online? They’re called QR (Quick Response) codes and they have the potential to do some remarkable things for your organization. They are the hot, new marketing technology that can be quickly scanned with a smartphone or other enabled device. QR codes are already being used on packaging, magazine articles and ads, ads on buses, museum exhibits and business cards. The information accessed can be visual or audio.

What are the benefits of using QR codes?

After a user scans the code, it gives them information or takes them directly to a website regarding your products and services without typing in the web address…more information than could be printed in the ad…and even allows for multi-media presentations.

How can I read a QR code?

If you have a smartphone, go to your app store and search for a QR code reader. You’ll find several free apps. Run the app and then hold your phone’s camera over a QR code to read it. Most QR codes you’ll come across have a URL encoded, so chances are when you read the QR code it will take you to a web page.

Morgan Chaney offers you the ability to print QR codes on many types of your packaging products.

We can print QR codes on bags, boxes, labels, presentation folders and more. We can even create a URL website QR code for you if you give us your information.
